That crazy Cow is at it again with another $500 contest going on over at his pasture. Once again this $500 contest is sponsored by his web hosting company MicFo.

Now what would I do with the $500? Well since I’ve been having computer problems, I would put it all toward my new computer. This would almost cover the entire cost of the computer, so I will be keeping my fingers, toes, and “hooves’ crossed that I am the lucky winner of the $500.

The specs on the computer I am looking at are as follows:

• AMD 64 X2 5200+
• 2gigs Ram
• GeForce 8600GT 256meg GFX card (maybe 2 in sli)
• COOLER MASTER Centurion 5 Case
• GIGABYTE GA-M57SLI-S4 AM2 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI MCP ATX AMD Motherboard
• Standard 520-600 Watt Power Supply

The computer will be solid, haven’t yet decided to keep it on the cheap side for now and just use Ubuntu or go ahead and put windows on it as well since I do love my gaming. At first probably will just be Linux, then maybe add another hard drive in it and duel boot with Windows. To save on price as well I’m just using Hard drives that I already have.

So hopefully I win this contest and will be on the way to getting this computer built.
